This person will be focused on existing internal systems across the client’s portfolio and road map from an architectural standpoint of how to implement/improve.
They are not dead set on someone having experience with the specific tech mentioned. They do need to have experience with cloud though.

Role Summary:
The IT Business Architect plays a critical role in designing and delivering technology solutions that support business outcomes, regulatory requirements, and long-term transformation goals while aligning with enterprise architecture standards. This role is responsible for translating functional needs by aligning business architecture into scalable, secure, and compliant technical architectures across banking platforms such as lending, payments, digital channels, core systems, and data management initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with business stakeholders, product owners, and technical teams to understand requirements and define solution architecture.
- Design end-to-end scalable solutions that span front-end user experience using frameworks like using frameworks like React, Angular, or Vue.js, integrated with robust back-end services built in Java, .NET, or Node.js. etc., well-orchestrated integration (APIs - REST/SOAP), and data layers
- Ensure solutions align with enterprise architecture principles, security policies, compliance, and regulatory requirements (e.g., FFIEC, GLBA, PCI-DSS).
- Create architecture artifacts including solution blueprints, data flow diagrams, and integration maps.
- Evaluate and recommend technologies, platforms, and frameworks for strategic fit and innovation potential.
- Support development teams during implementation, providing guidance on design patterns and technical decisions.
- Guide DevSecOps practices including CI/CD pipelines, container orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes), and automated testing.
- Participate in architecture review boards and contribute to governance processes.
- Ensure solutions are scalable, maintainable, and resilient in production environments.
Required:
- 7+ years of experience in solution architecture, application design, or software engineering.
- Strong understanding of banking domains such as digital banking, lending, payments, and customer onboarding.
- Experience with secure authentication and authorization frameworks (OAuth2, OpenID Connect, SAML).
- Proficiency in designing solutions using cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, GCP), microservices, APIs, and containerization.
- Experience with integration technologies (REST/SOAP APIs, ESB, Kafka, ETL).
- Familiarity with security and compliance standards (e.g., GLBA, PCI-DSS, SOX).
- Knowledge of enterprise architecture frameworks (e.g., TOGAF, ArchiMate) is a plus.
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, Information Systems, or related field.
