Position: Calypso Developer
Location: Atlanta (Local Preferred)
Work Authorization: GC or USC
We are seeking an experienced Calypso Developer with strong technical and functional expertise to join our team. The ideal candidate will have deep hands‑on experience with Calypso platform customizations, strong analytical abilities, and solid understanding of equity derivatives—particularly stock options traded on U.S. exchanges.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and customize components within the Calypso platform, including Scheduled Tasks, Reports, and Engines.
- Utilize and extend Calypso APIs to implement new functionality and enhance existing workflows.
- Analyze business requirements and translate them into effective Calypso-based technical solutions.
- Work with Calypso messaging and sender frameworks to support seamless integration with external systems.
- Write efficient, optimized SQL queries and work with Calypso database structures.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams in an Agile development environment.
- Support and enhance functionality for Equity Derivatives, specifically Single Stock Options.
- Troubleshoot, diagnose, and resolve issues in production and development environments.
Required Qualifications
- 8+ years of hands-on experience working with the Calypso platform.
- Strong understanding of overall Calypso system architecture.
- Proficiency in Calypso development and customization across various modules.
- Solid understanding of Calypso message and sender frameworks.
- Strong SQL skills and familiarity with Calypso database tables.
- Experience working with Calypso versions v17 or v18.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to work closely with business users.
- Mandatory: Prior experience working with Stock Options on CBOE and Nasdaq (U.S. Markets).
Preferred / Good-to-Have Skills
- Experience integrating WEX with Calypso.
- Experience integrating the Imagine tool with Calypso.
- Exposure to additional equity derivatives products and U.S. market workflows.
